Vocon Office

Designing cool places and spaces for clients is our passion, but with a unique firm like Vocon, we too have an interesting space to call our own. Specializing in interior design, architecture and technology, Vocon is expected to be up-to-the-minute with the latest trends. From our bright-colored walls to the clipboard wall displaying our employees’ photos in the lobby, Vocon’s innovatively designed interior is the ideal reflection of the creative individuals that work here.

Our vintage 1920s building is located in Cleveland’s historic Midtown Corridor neighborhood. It has been renovated with a modern interior to create an open-space environment allowing the 65+ members of our Vocon team to comfortably interact and collaborate on ideas and designs.

We knew first-hand that an open office environment would best support our company’s collaborative team approach.  We view our space as an opportunity for Vocon to visually come to life for our clients.  The design concept combines classic elements, such as the pervasive white, with modern big shapes that are found in a range of elements – and the solid colors and patterns that accent various forms throughout the space.

Our office is part of a team vision to create a “design laboratory,” a space where we can bring clients in and demonstrate numerous design concepts simply by walking them through the office.  Vocon’s interior creates an opportunity to do just that from the moment a client enters the main lobby.

The second floor houses the design studio - where much of the creative process takes place. Here you’ll find our café, lounge and everybody’s favorite, the outdoor deck.  The café and lounge allow for limitless access to free Starbucks coffee, flavored teas, filtered water and a Coke machine so one never goes thirsty here or craves a caffeine-enhanced jolt of energy.

Our café area and deck are not the only meeting places for the Vocon teams, although they are a favorite among clients who like to be a part of the design process. Clients can experience first hand the value of interaction and commitment that comes with a dynamic and creative work environment.

Because our team members integrate technology into design and creativity, it is easy to understand the desire to “go wireless” with laptops on the outdoor deck as the sunshine stimulates creative thinking.

Our conference rooms, are designed to facilitate results-focused teamwork with clients, but referenced by the nicknames “Absolut,” Grey Goose” and “Vox” for the Vodka drinks they are known for.  Around our offices it isn’t uncommon to find M&Ms in vast supply and Pez dispensers get their very own shelves in what we refer to as the “Red Room” due to its red paint –our signature color.

Despite all of the remarkable features in Vocon’s space, our clipboard wall of our employees’ faces seems to draw in each individual that walks through our doors, which can only help to emphasize Vocon’s belief that the core of its success and creativity is the firm’s people.
