Missing Link loathes mediocrity and will go to impressive lengths to avoid it. This relentlessly creative brigade specialise in high end, customised corporate presentations, putting them in close quarters with the suit and tie set everyday. Not that you'd know it from looking around their own offices. In late 2011, Missing Link’s headquarters were moved from Northriding in Johannesburg to the hub of the city's prime northern suburbs. The project team consisted of project manager Steve Bedingfield, Capital 5 interior designer Lauren Tabasso, graffiti master Nic Hooper of Shakewell. Missing Link's concierge Letticia Bissondut, production manager Tammy Merz, Missing Link company owner Richard Mulholland and managing director Samantha Dean. Along with a small team of construction contractors they had just six weeks to create a concept and complete its execution. Thanks to their efforts the doors now open up on a riot of colour and carefully orchestrated chaos. From the in-house tattoo parlour and the customised graffiti covering the walls to the (sort of) time saving slide and the Victorian bath serving time as a reception desk, every single area has been designed to feel like an experience in itself, creating a myriad of spaces and sensations that surprise and absorb the first time visitor and the daily resident. There's even a tree house and a shooting range to unleash any job induced frustrations. This office marks a new chapter in the tale of these hugely successful mavericks and has been carefully designed and crafted to reflect the belief the company has had since the beginning: if you're going to spend most of your life at the office, you should work in an office you love. collapse
