About

In this project our clients asked us to give the entire exterior of their 70's style residence a face-lift. We responded with the renewal of all the siding and roofing materials, details, and colors, as well as an entirely redesigned and newly constructed entry area. This area was a building in itself. In this project our clients asked us to give the entire exterior of their 70's style residence a face-lift. We responded with the renewal of all the siding and roofing materials, details, and colors, as well as an entirely redesigned and newly constructed entry area. This area was a building in itself. It included a 7’x7’ pivoting steel/glass entry door, 12’ tall black concrete freestanding walls, a steel and hardwood butterfly roof, cable rails, and modern version of a stone porch. We played with the entry sequence, guiding a visitor through the full experience of all these elements and giving the home owner a choice to enter a side door. We are presently working with a landscape architect to complete the whole ensemble. collapse
