Culver X is an approximately 108,066 square foot, multi-use retail, restaurant, entertainment, health, fitness and creative office project, organized as a gathering place that is woven into the existing fabric of the downtown community. Culver X is an approximately 108,066 square foot, multi-use retail, restaurant, entertainment, health, fitness and creative office project, organized as a gathering place that is woven into the existing fabric of the downtown community. Real estate developer, Harry Culver enthusiastically pronounced“All roads lead to Culver City.” in his promotion of the city. He believed its location at the intersection of rail and transit crossings between downtown Los Angeles and Venice was an ideal place to build a city. The Culver-Washington X was historically the symbolic and physical center of downtown. Changes over time transformed this historic crossing so that Washington Boulevard no longer crossed directly through Culver for automobiles. Culver X proposes to draw on this iconic intersection to create a new gathering place that complements and extends the existing Downtown Culver City. collapse
