Situated on the shores of Lake Ontario in Toronto’s nascent East Bayfront community, Corus Quay is the 500,000 SF new home of Corus Entertainment.  The new HQ amalgamates 11 locations from across Toronto's downtown into the first completed building at the East Bayfront precinct.  The design draws on its waterfront location as well as bringing the 70+ Corus brands to life for its staff together as a team in a LEED CI Gold-targeted interior, within a LEED Gold-targeted building in a LEED ND Neighbourhood.  Corus Quay is North America’s most advanced media building of its kind and is Toronto’s smartest building.  Corus Quay brings together the 1100 staff of Corus for the first time into an open office environment with many collaboration and social spaces including a five story atrium with a three story slide and lounge atop two tv studios.  The facility contains radio and performance studios open to the public as well as numerous edit and mix production facilities and technology processing rooms.  The way in which Corus staff work has been transformed by the facilties through technological and physical changes. In the words of John Cassaday, Corus's founding CEO:  "This building represents a cultural shift.  Its all about fun." collapse
