Born and raised in a small town between ocean and mountains in Portugal. Officially became an architect in 1999 and recently graduated in from ITP Interactive Telecommunication Program at NYU in interactive design. Current explorations include wellness and calming technology, material research, event design, urban experience and can be seen here. Filipa has practiced architecture and design in Lisbon, Rotterdam, Funchal and New York and a sample portfolio of some of her professional collaborations can also be found under ft.WOTS. She likes to mash-up crafts and new technologies as filifilitomtom and started the SoftLAB at ITP. Enjoys time in the kitchen and to lead a primal lifestyle and is a volunteer with the Prospect Park Alliance in her neighborhood.
