Description: Haptic Lab is a growing design practice seeking 2-3 interns with a background in fashion, art or architectural design interested in gaining experience in product development and fabrication. Interns will be involved in all aspects of the business: branding, marketing and customer support, admin, production and development. Our studio promotes a culture of exploration and experiment: interns will be expected to use their brains as well as their hands.
 
-Applicants must have excellent sewing skills: specifically quilting, applique and hand-embroidery work
-A working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar vector-based software is preferred
-A working knowledge Adobe Creative Suite is also preferred
-An interest in geography and and map-making is essential
 
Interns will be compensated on a project-to-project basis, from $30 to $1200+ based on project size and complexity (approximately $12/hr). We'd be happy to arrange for academic credits when applicable. Start date is immediate; hours are flexible. Interns will have the opportunity to collaborate with a menswear label that we will be working very closely with in the coming months.
