We are  Ole Schroeder  and  Flemming Rafn Thomsen. Both have extensive experience in urbanity, landscape and planning. As a culmination of the later years of work and study, we will now start for a new generation of architects. A generation occurs in the processes of increasing complexity and operating in unfamiliar forums. In Tredje Natur, we invest our common experience and skills in a description of a new type of urban nature that does not regard building and biology to be in opposition.Third Nature formulate concrete strategies for future hybrid cities through the draft proposal, agitation, projects, knowledge sharing and collaboration. Our gaze is directed at places where the regulated and the unregulated can clash and create new stories. We are fascinated by the power and the potential of the human nature generates, and will short-circuit the entrenched divisions between city and countryside in Danish architecture. Third Nature examines the city's blind spot and creates space, constellations and new meanings in that nature and the city are constantly changing.

We work for a city that develops despite trends. A city where you can hear the unilateral, the invasive and kunstiges hidden potential and make the effect of the cultivated landscape clearly. There is a need to rethink the urban space, to accommodate the living in the city - not vice versa.
