About The Living
David Benjamin and Soo-in Yang created The Living in 2004.
Work by the firm has been exhibited at Chicago Museum of Science, Innovation Lab in Copenhagen, Southern Exposure in San Francisco, and Eyebeam in New York. It received an Architect R+D Award in 2008, a New York Prize in 2007, and a Young Architects award in 2006. Recent projects include Living City (a platform for buildings to talk to one another), Amphibious Architecture (a cloud of light above New York rivers that responds to conditions underwater), and Living Light (a pavilion in Seoul that displays air quality and collective interest in the environment).
