About kadawittfeldarchitektur
‚This is kadawittfeldarchitektur’. Founded in 1999 in Aachen by Klaus Kada and Gerhard
Wittfeld, today we represent much more than pure architectural form. The
interdisciplinary approach of our work fuses architecture, interior
architecture, and design, on the one hand, and interfaces
both urban planning and urban projects on the other – to reflect the wide range
of our creative work today.
kadawittfeldarchitektur creates an “added-value” space. Our young creative team generates added-value space: life-space, communications-space, domestic-space, and work-space. Our way of handling volume, material, supporting structure and utilization yearns to be integrated into the urban fabric. We seek to counterbalance the heterogeneity of the city face, and the homogeneity of the diversified city space – with the goal of contemporaneity and sustainability, with both spectator and user in mind.
kadawittfeldarchitektur is individuality. Together with our clients we search out optimum conditions: future-oriented, in an interplay between tradition and technology, spanning the past and present, obligated to the environment.
kadawittfeldarchitektur is strategic planning. Good architecture is brought to life not only by a creative idea, but also by good details. Thanks to extensive expertise with the most diverse projects, we represent top-notch competence, on-budget and on-schedule.
kadawittfeldarchitektur builds internationally. Projects such as the university and the corporate headquarters of the Pappas Group in Salzburg, Austria, the Hermes Soft Lab Headquarters in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the head office of the AachenMünchener Insurance in Aachen, and the research, design, and marketing headquarters of the adidas Group in Herzogenaurach, Germany provide a representative spectrum of our projects both at home in Germany and abroad. Furthermore, we have won numerous independent competitions such as that of the Central Station Salzburg, Austria, and Concert Halls in Padua, Italy.
