About Freecell
Freecell was founded by Lauren Crahan and John Hartmann as a design and fabrication studio that strives to allow a gamut of interests to influence our work. The studio grew out of a need to engage physically with materials and mechanics to solve problems, and it is with this formula that we have created installations, designed exhibitions, and fabricated furniture. We strive to create site-specific, three-dimensional installations that transform and question the use and perception of space.
