Founded in 2001, Alex Scott Porter Design specializes 
in unique, custom houses and interiors for both city and 
country. We prefer involvement in all stages of the design 
and construction process, but are comfortable to consult 
on any task along the way. Our work is rooted by a sense of place, in sympathy and support of the lifestyle and life view of our clients. We 
have developed a modern approach to design enhanced 
by a rich material palette. We value skillful detailing and 
finishing of materials, having developed a fluency in 
juxtaposing the reclaimed, newly fabricated, rough and
