Cersaie 2011 Booth Round Up
September 26, 2011
Every time I get back from Europe, I’m always amazed how big everything is here in the USA: the cars, the portions, the people. But Cersaie, the Bologna-based tile show I attended last week, challenged my size-ist prejudice. Clocking it at almost 2,000,000 square feet occupied by more than 1,000 exhibitors, it’s nothing short of gigantic – even in comparison to its stateside counterparts. And I have to admit, it’s more than a little awesome (assuming that you like tile). Once you get over that hurdle, you’re in for the ceramic ride of your life.
The show was wayyyyyyyy to vast to fully explicate, but I wanted to squeeze in some “booth architecture” highlights for those thinking of competing in the Ceramic Tiles of Italy competition. Click through for some of my favorites.
