Don’t Drink And Look! Mauro Turin Creates Cliffhanging Wine Museum in Switzerland

If there is anything that should not be mixed with wine it’s standing on a cliff. But that hasn’t stopped Mauro Turin from placing his museum devoted to the drink on top of one! The Wine Museum, a celebration of Switzerland’s Lavaux wine region, includes a glass plank that juts out over the cliffs above Lake Geneva. (You’ve got to admit, the view will be stunning!) Why not just build a beautiful wine center safely on the ground, you ask? Lavaux is one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites, and under cantonal law its vineyards are completely protected from development. Read more!
