Every year, proud Irish (and, just as often, quasi- and even non-Irish) folk take to the streets of their cities to celebrate the one time of year when Baileys is an appropriate substitute for milk in your Lucky Charms. Stereotypes aside—we love Lucky Charms—we thought we’d have some fun with the usual lineup of St. Patrick’s Day traditions. Naturally, this meant we had to throw buildings into that delirious mix of alcohol, fatty foods, and incoherent song-and-dance.
But seriously, we love St. Patrick’s Day as much (or almost as much) as we do architecture. We know that’s true for Ireland, which has recently seen a wave of contemporary design pass into its cities and countryside. Go on and see for yourself! Happy St. Paddy’s Day!
