Beerchitecture: Modern Pubs For St. Patrick’s Day
March 12, 2013
St. Patrick’s Day is coming up, which means get ready to dodge parade routes, brave hordes of drunken revelers, and, of course, hang out at the pub. The good news is that you don’t need to spend your holiday in one of those blandly uniform, uninspired stereotypically Irish-style establishments. We’ve scoured the world to find bars that combine the unpretentious casualness of the humble pub with more sophisticated, and modern, design. From airy breweries to a ping-pong lounge, here are the nine places in which we’d most like to have a beer (or five) on St. Patty’s Day. Click through to see them all!
