Project: Rawson Administrative Office
Architect: Nicolas Pinto da Mota
Location: Rawson, Argentina
The design of the administrative offices of the Provincial Highway Commission is a return to minimal modern design sensibly. The building is a long, simple prism, withdrawn from the street by public plaza space and raised planting beds. The interior of the office is open, allowing for a flexible use of space with movable interior dividers. The linear facades are equipped with insulated glazed panels that minimize solar gain during the day and transform into transparent light boxes at night, cinematically activating the street scape.
