These Houses Suck (Literally): Artist Creates Vacuums Shaped Like Buildings

A conceptual art project that helps you clean your room? Awesome! Dutch artist Frank Halmans has built (fully functioning!) vacuum cleaners and dust busters that are shaped like houses. These “Hoover Buildings” (ha ha ha) suck up dirt into what looks like the interior of a dollhouse—a commentary on the debris that clutters our lives, both physically and metaphorically. The Huffington Post, a media partner for the Architizer A+ Awards, has collected some photos of Halmans’, um, neat creations—plus a video of the artist talking about his work. See them all here!
