Function: For those hunting for a luxe vacation spot, look no more! Situated in the Alpine foothills, the Hotel Valentinerhof fuses unbelievable mountain vistas with a contemporary take on the local building traditions and materials of Kastelruth. Heroic stone volumes spill rhythmically along the topography, punctuated with heavy timber frames, trellises and railings, metaphorically joining earth and landscape (how poetic, right?). The large-scale expansion of the resort included the addition of 14 spacious suites, a spa, and a restaurant. Read more about this project in the Architizer database.
