Project: Ristorante Lacucina – Mantova
Architect: Archiplan Studio
Location: Mantua, Italy
Function: Built for two chefs and a British ex-pat software engineer, the Ristorante Lacucina combines old and new in classic Italian style—understated elegance. Built in the heart of historic Mantua, the design of the restaurant highlights the existing architectural elements, such as the enormous timber beam ceiling, while subtly inserting a clean and complimentary material palette.
