Why We Liked This:

It’s happened before. You look up at a jagged hillscape, spot an opportune niche and deem this the site of your dream house. Forget how you get up there or how much money you’ll need to make it happen—it’s your dream house! Nothing is too good (or outlandish). Needless to say, this cliffside house fits the bill. The architects plopped a Purist box in the craggly site to create a place where “what is best is to do nothing”. The house is composed of sculptural moments, with the blank white walls near  polemic counterpoint to the harsh terrain. A small swimming pool embedded in the terrace deck echoes the ocean beyond.
