Move Over Starlets, Zaha Hadid Named Glamour’s Woman Of The Year

Zaha Hadid is used to awards and accolades, but this is a whole new realm of recognition. Glamour Magazine, a publication dedicated to fashion, lifestyle, and how to apply the perfect eyeliner has named the Pritzker Prize winning architect their Woman of the Year. In a fantastic collision of worlds, Glamour Magazine’s millions of readers may for the first time be introduced to a woman who has burst into the male-centric world of architecture and has made a name for herself as one of our time’s most accomplished designers. In the words of Frank Gehry: “She’s an extraordinary force of nature that came out of the blue and whacked us all on the back of the head and said, ‘Wake up, kids, there’s more stuff to do.’” Congratulations to Dame Zaha Hadid!
