This Rooftop Sauna Takes Relaxation To New Heights
October 25, 2012
Is there anything better than heating up in a warm sauna when the temperature starts to drop outside? We clearly have a passion for a well-designed sauna (check out our sauna round-up), but it seems we may have left a few clever designs off of our list, including this steamy Swiss retreat.

Designed by BUREAU A and artist Jérémie Gindre, the suspended sauna is installed on top of a factory roof in Geneva, Switzerland. The wooden bath house roosts upon three beams, and a levitating pathway provides access to and from the relaxing hideaway. The sauna itself is utterly private, fitted with only two small benches and an even smaller window, providing guests with a sense of anonymity and keeping them safe from prying eyes of other nearby rooftop visitors.
