Zaha Hadid’s Galaxy Soho To Finally Open In Beijing!

At last, the Galaxy SOHO in Beijing is ready for its big debut! Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, the complex is scheduled to open October 27 with a string of events centered around creativity. The curvilinear facility is intended to become an integral part of the bustling city center, containing a mixed program of retail, offices, and entertainment.
“Liquid geometries” coalesce to create an immersive, futuristic experience in the heart of Beijing. Blob-like volumes are linked by a series of winding bridges, while fluid outdoor spaces connect with the dense surroundings. The architects consider the scheme a reinvention of a classical Chinese courtyard. Click through to see more images!
