Illuminate Your Wall With Aquatic Life Forms

September 21, 2012

Created by Olivia d’Aboville, the Anemone Wall Lamp features hundred of molded polystyrene tentacles reminiscent of some of the most beautiful creatures that exist below the water’s surface. The surface-mounted lamp, which is available in three sizes and is illuminated by several LED bulbs, can be purchased through Hive.

The designer recently displayed the collection in her show “Coral Garden,” on view during Asia’s first and only sustainable light festival, “i-Light Marina Bay 2012.” Her work also was featured in the “Génération Design” exhibition at the Musée D’Art Moderne, produced as part of ELLE Decoration‘s 25th anniversary celebration.
