Banksy’s Famous Street Art Gets Animated

The internationally recognized street artist Banksy has practically become a household name in recent years. His satirical street art has been displayed on public surfaces around the world, with even a handful of both authorized and unauthorized gallery exhibitions occurring over the past decade. Read more.
In 2010 Banksy debuted his first film, “Exit Through The Gift Shop,” at the Sundance Film Festival, garnering the artist a nomination for Best Documentary Feature at the Academy Awards the following year. It seems that everyone is on the lookout for a new Banksy masterpiece, especially at the recent London Olympics, which were held in the country the anonymous artist supposedly calls home.
Instead of searching for Banksy’s latest installment, we were ecstatic when we discovered GIFs of his work that have been animated by the Tumblr blog “Made by ABVH.” Let’s be honest, if there’s one thing that rings true about the Internet, it’s that everybody loves a good animated GIF.
