Update: Letters Behind Frank Lloyd Wright’s One and Only Doghouse
February 10, 2012
Following our post on Frank Lloyd Wright’s one-off design for a doghouse, we were sent the original documents accompanying the story–Jim Berger’s initial letter and his response to Wright’s response–by filmmaker Michael Miner, whose new documentary Romanza investigates the architect’s work, including the little home for Eddie, in California. For the film’s world premier in October, Miner invited Berger onstage to present a full scale replica of the original doghouse (pictures below). Miner is currently in the middle of a nationwide lecture/screening tour to promote the documentary. To find out more about Romanza and for tour dates, visit the film’s website.
