Utrecht-based photographer Richard Gubbels took these stunning shots from inside a cooling plant of a decommissioned power plant. Judging from the looks of his flickr page, Gubbels never met at urbex environment he didn’t like. Here, he manages to imbibe the cold, but compelling structures with a warmth and auratic calm which transcend the sanctified spaces of some cathedrals. Now, we must wonder, what has become of the interior of the great cooling plant-cum-assembly hall at Chandigarh? Someone photograph it!
