Top Ten: Theatrics
February 17, 2011
A brief reminder that we are in the thick of “Changing the Face,” a competition co-hosted by Architizer and Dupont with a brief to re-design one of Moscow’s iconic buildings, the 1961 Pushinsky Cinema. It’s an ideas competition with a very real reward: first prize collects €10,000, while second and third prize awards merit €5,000 and $3,000 respectively.
For inspiration, we’ve collected ten examples of stunning theaters designed by architects famous (Rafael Vinoly Architects, REX) to emerging (5468796 Architecture, Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects).
